Beauty: My #Benefit Beach Favorites

Hello, this is Sam Oh reporting live from Boracay! I really get a kick out of saying “reporting live”. Check out my blogging view today.

I KNOW RIGHT

I’m on the island this weekend for a bunch of events and I thought I’d squeeze in a quick post about a couple of my beach essentials from Benefit. Love Benefit! From the fun-girly-spunky packaging to their fabulous hardworking product line. The Hello Flawless! face powder is a daily essential. But THE essential when one is at the beach is sunscreen and Benefit’s Dream Screen makes me kilig (a sensation akin to bursting with fruit flavor inside) to the cheekbones.

Dream Screen is in the form of what feels like a thick emulsion but surprisingly, it boasts of an oil-free formula. It goes on clear (No streaky white marks, yay!) and applies on skin really smooth and then, my favorite part, it leaves the skin feeling velvet-y. Swoon. A dream indeed.

I’m an absolute lip balm fiend and cannot leave the house without it. I have about five different ones on rotation right now. What? Don’t you? Har har. I brought the Posiebalm and Lollibalm on this trip.

I only really wear lipstick when I’m working so a lightly tinted balm like this is an everyday favorite. As for make up on the beach, I don’t know how some girls do it. I do like to look like I have a pulse though and I find that a tinted balm is the way to go. The pink of the Posiebalm is super wearable and pretty.

The Lollibalm is a sheer candy-orchid shade and yes, a girl needs both because, you know, variety.

When I do wear lipstick, I like to wear these balms under it to keep my lips hydrated. The hydration on the Posiebalm and Lollibalm is courtesy of mango butter and it smells lovely!

Added a little glittery pineapple on the side of my belly for good measure. I’m ready, Boracay!
